The Team
Louis Browne (Partner)
Crossmans Private Client department was established to help our clients to preserve their home and their savings and investments, in short their wealth, from taxes, family problems and changes of circumstances so that what you have achieved in the course of your life can be used to the best advantage of not only you but for future generations.
Louis Browne is the partner in charge of the department. He qualified as a solicitor in 1979 and has specialised in Wills, Trusts and Tax since 1985.
Louis is based at the Cambridge office and deals with Wills for the Cambridge office and also trusts and tax advice for both the Cambridge and Enfield offices.
Claire Nunes (Partner)
Claire qualified as a solicitor in 1981. Since qualifying she has dealt with many areas of law but is best known for her expertise in residential conveyancing. She is responsible for building up the highly successful conveyancing department at Crossmans. She also has a range of other duties within the practice, having taken over the role of managing partner in December 2002. This involves being in charge of finance, being responsible for all staff issues and for marketing. In March 2003 the firm was successful in retaining it’s Investors In People status.
Rachel Dunne
(Partner)
Conveyancing Partner Rachel Dunne joined Crossmans in 1996 after qualifying as a solicitor in 1995. Rachel has lived and worked in Cambridge all her life, she specialises in particular in residential conveyancing. Rachel's approach to conveyancing is clear and straight forward. She is the person to contact to discuss any aspect of buying, selling or remortgaging your property.
Graham Humby (Consultant)
Graham qualified as a solicitor in1979. His specialization is personal injury negligence claims with an extensive background in this area, having acted for private clients, legal expense insurers, members of trade unions, associations and membership based organisations. He has a particular expertise in acting for people with disability. He has considerable experience advising upon legal service schemes for membership based organizations. From being a partner in a large London based firm he set up a niche personal injury practice Fenbook in 2005. He entered into an association with Crossmans in the same year, followed by merger and relocation to Cambridge in 2006.
Asad Rana (Solicitor)
Asad joined Crossmans in 2005 after qualification. He graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with LLB Honours in 2001. His specialist areas include Commercial Litigation, Employment Law and Commercial Property. Asad is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA), the Charity Law Association and is proficient in Arabic, Urdu and Punjabi.
Sara Simons (Solicitor)
Sara Joined Crossmans Solicitors in October 2002 and heads the family/matrimonial department. Sara has specialised in family and matrimonial matters for over 10 years. Sara is also a member of the Solicitors Family Association and an accredited Family Lawyer who is a member of the Law Society's Family Panel.
Jennifer Martindale-Lund (Litigation Lawyer)
Jennifer Martindale-Lund joined Crossmans after successfully graduating from the Bar. Jennifer is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and her specialisation is in personal injury law in fast and multi-track cases. These include road traffic accidents, MIB Claims, Accidents at Work, Occupiers and Public Liability Claims and Infant Settlement cases.
Jennifer is also a volunteer at the Citizens’ Advice Bureau and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
